The JJRC H36 offers plenty of value for a mini quadcopter. It’s great fun to fly, is fast yet stable, and with ducted motors, poses less of a threat to children and is much harder to accidentally break. The ducts on this model do an excellent job in shielding the propellers and your home from damage.

  • 360 Rotation: capable of really cool stunts like 360-degree flips and rolls.
  • A 6-axis gyro: helps choreograph all the maneuvers and enables precision control. Can be easily controlled to rise, fall, fly forward or backward, turn left or right and fly sideways. 
  • Headless Mode: No need to think about which direction your drone is facing, the directions you give it will be based on the way you are facing instead.
  • Land and take-off at the touch of a button. 
  • 2 speed modes available, high and low. Easy to control for players of all skill levels.

Flight performance is where the H36 shines the most. It is a very fast and agile flyer with decent yaw rates.

Designed for indoor use, this drone is not suitable for windy conditions.

Damaged box drones are brand new drones with the same guarantees as our other drones. The box is a bit beaten up and we wouldn't give it as a gift. We have given the drone a short test flight to check it was working if the box has extensive damage.

Smaller than expected

This drone was a lot smaller than I expected. Very fast and quite hard to control. We used it outside and it got picked up by the wind and flew far far away! Inside from now on!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Drone sizes can be found in the specs tab on each product page. These small drones are designed for flying indoors, and we've updated our description to make that clearer. If you're having difficulty with control we'd recommend making sure you're flying on the slowest speed with headless mode on.

Not as easy as it sounds

I bought this for my 6 yr old son. It's not as easy as I expected. To get it to start is hit and miss requiring a two toggle movement and pause to pair each time, it doesn't always start first time. The USB charger broke on first use leaving the metal case around the USB stuck in the socket, still works but need pliers to remove each time and put it back together.
The drone itself is pretty sturdy and hasn't left any marks on the ceiling or walls from multiple crashes. My son and I still haven't mastered the remote but im not sure if they get much simpler so it's tough to review. Quick delivery and we bought a damaged box drone but couldn't see any damage to the box.

Drone review

The drone was received quickly and in good condition. These are awesome little drones. The second one we've bought.
The charger didn't work on this one but support responded promptly saying they would send me a new charger. Unfortunately it was sent to an old address, not the one the drone was delivered too. Not quite sorted out yet but I expect it will be.
